Richard the Lionheart's Castle
At few steps from the sea, Richard the Lionheart's Castle is a come-back into the medieval society.

The castle is open from April the 15th till September the 30th 2013 and All Saints'Day Holiday (end of October)

In July and August, battles, heraldry, dressage event, chivalry, falconry, guided tours, crossbow, calligraphy, pony rides and possibility to dress up as a knight. Every week-end, the castle is open without entertainments.

La Folie de Finfarine - Poiroux

In a huge wooded park of 10ha, discover the fascinating world of bees and honey.
Suitable for families: enter in the giant hive in order to feel like a bee and discover bee's activities. During the entertainment "Honey and Bees", open a hive. Games and activities for children of different ages.

Open from April to October. From April the 14th till July the 6th, each day from 2.00pm to 6.30pm (closed on Saturday). From July the 7th till August the 30th, each day from 10.30pm to 7.00pm; from August the 31st till September the 15th, each day from 2.00pm to 6.00pm (closed on Saturday); from October the 27th till November the 8th (All Saints'Day holiday), each day from 2.00pm to 6.00pm.

Prices 2013 : Adults : 6.50€, children (from 4 to 15 years old) : 4.30€; free for children less than 4 years old.

The Vendee Automobile Museum
160 cars, 45 brands from 1885 to the 70's, bicycles, motorcycles and horse drawn carriages. New models are added to the collection every year. Old posters and various accessories also.
From 1st of April to 1st of October, on the 3rd Sunday of the month, from 10.00am to 12.30pm, opportunity for car enthusiasts (club members, individuals) to bring their cars out of the garage, meet up with like-minded people and swap stories over a glass.
